Liisa Lahtmets Will Be an Intern at FACTORY 92

-

A short while ago, we were searching for a student or young professional to whom we could offer a four-month internship at Hamburg-based music PR, marketing and consulting agency FACTORY 92. We are glad to announce that the selection has been made and Liisa Lahtmets will be an intern at FACTORY 92!

Liisa is the Head of Marketing and Communications at international event production company PS Music Events. Her daily work and company’s activities largely coincide with FACTORY 92’s activities and expectations for the intern, which was one of the main reasons the internship caught Liisa’s attention. On Wednesday mornings, Liisa is playing fresh Latvian and Lithuanian music at Estonian radio station Raadio 2.

In autumn, Liisa started studying Integrated Arts, Music and Multimedia at Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School. Before that, she studied Culture Management and went to an exchange year to Riga, where she was also an intern at record label I Love You Records.

Over the years, Liisa has been a team member of several events and festivals, including Tallinn Music Week, Weekend Festival Baltic, Sweet Spot Festival etc. If Liisa is not organising something, she is enjoying biking, travelling and filling her soul with positive emotions.

FACTORY 92 is a Hamburg-based music PR, marketing and consulting agency. The agency works with both German and international projects for a diversified roster of international music industry clients (record labels, distributors, instrument retailers, festivals, export offices, conferences, etc.), including the likes of SZIGET Festival, Roskilde Festival, Mera Luna Festival, Sub Pop and Reeperbahn Festival.

Liisa will be working as a part of team at the FACTORY 92 office in central Hamburg. During the programme, Liisa will work on coordinating PR relations in different projects. In addition to that, she will take on tasks that match interests and professional profile, such as day-to-day customer relations management tasks.

At least once a month, Liisa will write a blog post about her internship experience – we will share her journey via our Facebook page.

The programme is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Commission, coordinated by Music Estonia and implemented in partnership with WHY Portugal and FACTORY 92.
